Cobalt Flutes
Build a full-bleed WebGL background as one self-contained HTML file (no libraries, under 40 KB): cool blue light drifting behind 14 wide, rounded glass flutes. Light layer: ground #030713 with a faint #0a1640 lift toward the top, one blue bloom #2456ff with a pale core #b4d6ff that orbits slowly, and a small cyan orb #33e1ff on a second path. Glass: 14 vertical flutes; inside each, sample the light at x - (0.8n + 0.9n³) × flute width (n = -1..1 across the flute) so each flute acts as a rounded lens, with a 6% R/B split. Shade like real glass: 14% darker on the right side of each flute, a dark groove where flutes meet (1 - 0.32|n|¹⁰), a soft ridge highlight at 26% and a 1 px hairline edge. Tonemap 1 - exp(-x), then 3% flickering grain. The bloom moves, the flutes never do. Seamless 12 s loop built only from sin/cos of integer multiples of the phase. Cap DPR at 1.5, pause offscreen and in hidden tabs, one still frame under prefers-reduced-motion, CSS gradient fallback without WebGL.
